Team Abacus has a Quality Assurance methodology based on industry best practices and standards that are compliant with SEI CMMI, ISO-9000, and Lean Six Sigma. Currently, we are employing Lean Six Sigma methods in standardizing our internal shared services in Accounting, Purchasing, Invoicing, Contracts Administration, and Human Resources to streamline our processes and eliminate waste in order to provide the best value for our customers. We will incorporate the customer's input before our QC Plan (QCP) is baselined. For each SeaPort-e Task Order, Team Abacus will ensure the customer's overall quality objectives are satisfied through the following process:
** Identify Overall Quality Objectives-PD/EC Rep/PM/Customer identify Customer and internal Team Abacus objectives for product/task accomplishment, process improvement, and cost savings.
** Set Plan for Quality Project Deliverables-Identify what deliverables will be subject to quality assessment, set quality metrics for each deliverable, establish what constitutes quality success.
** Quality Roles and Responsibilities-Identify who will perform: QC action, Standards/Metrics used, Timing, Defect/Problem tracking, QC reporting.
** Document QC Plan/Process-To ensure QC Plan is implemented, it must be documented. Four document types will be produced during the QC process: the QC plan per task; procedures to be followed; checklists, instructions, and guidelines to ensure repeatable/standard QC actions; and QC records as repository of all actions, metrics measured, and reports for auditing and lessons learned.
All of our actions (Managing the Task, Performance, Incentivising Subcontractors, Getting and keeping the best personnel, and implementing a robust QC program) will be measured and evaluated during the annual contract evaluation where technical accuracy of the deliverables, general quality of supplies and services delivered, timeliness, cost control, achievement of small business requirements, contractor's responsiveness to customers, team stability and cooperation with other IDIQ holder teams will be assessed.
